MetLife getaway

(These pictures kind of went out of order but
whatever.)
Last week we went to Las Vegas
all expense paid by MetLife. Dallin and Shellee
were kind enough to watch the girls. (Thanks
again Dallin and Shellee!) We went down with
Brandon and Stephanie. The weather was better
than Provo but not by much. Pretty cloudy and
windy. Only one sunny day while we were there.
Jason got recognised at one of the dinners which was
pretty cool. Salmon Insurance was one of the top
performers for last year. We also got to go the the show
"Love" which was amazing.
It was fun to get away, but nice to be back with Haley
and Brynlee.

Good times that we will miss!!!!!

We lived at my parents house the last nine months while we built our house. We are happy to start a new chapter in our lives but I have to say it was hard leaving my parents house. I felt like I was getting married all over again and leaving home!! :) We made so many fun memories that none of us will ever forget. Thanks Mom and Dad for everything. You guys are the best!!!

We Moved!!!

We are alive, just been busy! Last
month we moved into our new
house! We are so lucky to have so
much family around to make the move
a lot easier.

Birthday weekend...

Last weekend was my birthday. We had planned to go
out to dinner and a movie but instead we stayed home
all weekend because Brynlee got pneumonia. After having
a temp. of 102 for two days, she wasn't eating, was sleeping
a lot (except at night cause she would cough so much it would
wake her up) I took her to the Dr. he said her oxygen was really low
and that she needed to have a breathing treatment done.
So after the breathing treatment her oxygen went up
a little, but not enough. So he sent us over to the hospital
for a chest x-ray and told us she might need to be hospitalized.
Luckily the pneumonia wasn't as bad as he thought so we were
able to go home. Watching Bryn be so sick made me grateful for
a healthy family!!!

This is Brynlee doing her inhaler. She thought
this was so funny.

Thank heavens for antibiotics but why do they
have to taste so nasty! It was a fight everyday to
get Bryn to take her medicine. It took Jason and
I to hold her down and pray that she wouldn't
throw it right back up!

Jason read Bryn a book and she fell asleep in
the middle of it. She never does that.
Jason and I celebrated my birthday the next week
instead. I am just glad we didn't have to celebrate it
in the hospital.
I am so eady for Spring!!! I sware my kids have been
sick a lot this winter. Right before Bryn had pneumonia
Haley had the stomach flu then a few days latter she got
croup then Bryn was getting over a cold which then turned
into croup and then to pneumonia! But now we are all healthy
and happy!

Something's Missing!

Sunday, Haley woke up and asked me if she could go upstairs
and have Grandpa pull her front tooth out. I said
sure, thinking she would chicken out, but she didn't.
She marched upstairs and got the job done. Grandpa
always pays two dollars to pull the grand kids teeth.

Haley had fun spitting water out of her new space.

Haley did all of this while Jason was at church
meetings. She was excited to show him her new
smile.

Haley's note to the tooth fairy:
"Dear tooth fairy,I hope that you give me lots of
money. Love, Haley Please write back."
We had to leave her tooth out in the family room
that night. She said she likes to put her hands under
her pillow when she sleeps and is afraid she might
smash and kill the tooth fairy. We have yet to put
her tooth under her pillow. Mascots and the tooth fairy
are not her thing!!!

Chirstmas Card?

As you can see we got family pictures taken! So for those of you who are wonding
why you didn't get a Christmas card from us...well it is because we didn't do one. So
there it is....Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! :) (My goal is to do one next
year I promise.)

This is Bryn on her pink rocking horse that she wanted
for Christmas. She still loves it and rides it daily.

What we've been up to...

No nuts for Brynlee either!!! She is just like
Haley...she is allergic to tree nuts!!! Haley was
excited she joined the club.
We found this out on an overnighter with Jason's
family. Bryn just wouldn't settle down for bed.
She kept saying she wanted to go home. The she
started saying her tummy hurt. At about 1 a.m.
she told me she couldn't see. I was thinking she
wanted the lights on. So I turned the bathroom
light on and went back to her bed to lay by her
and I couldn't hardly recognize her face cause her
eyes/face were so swollen. Her breathing was fine
so we headed to Walgreen's with here and gave
her benadryl right there in the store. After that
she barfed all over me. Jason was so kind and
cleaned it all up. We gave her more benadryl
and since she just threw it all up. Then we
headed back for the hotel. This is a picture of her
after her bath. Poor thing!

Jason, being the fun dad that he is, went out and
played in the snow with Haley. This was the first
real snow storm of the year.

Bryn is very entertaining! She LOVES to be a
girl. She changes her outfit at least 3 times a day
and her outfits have to be dresses. She also loves
shoes, jewelry, lipgloss, purses and painting her
nails. She is all girl!

Two of my best friends growing up. Nicole and
Kim. Nicole just got married!!! And Kim flew in
from NYC to be there.
